Abstract: This research evaluates the role of community colleges in vocational education in Nigeria, examining their contributions to workforce development and educational accessibility. Community colleges play a pivotal role in providing affordable and accessible vocational training programs, catering to diverse learner needs and local industry demands. The study aims to (1) assess the educational offerings and pathways provided by community colleges, (2) analyze their effectiveness in preparing students for employment and further education, and (3) propose strategies for enhancing community college contributions to vocational education. A survey research design is employed to gather insights from students, educators, and industry partners. A sample size of 300 participants will be chosen through purposive sampling to represent community college students and stakeholders in Kaduna State. Case studies will highlight successful community college models and partnerships with local industries. Findings indicated community colleges' role in bridging skills gaps, promoting socio-economic mobility, and fostering regional economic development. Recommendations include expanding program offerings, enhancing career guidance services, and strengthening collaborations between community colleges, industries, and government agencies to optimize their impact on vocational education outcomes and workforce readiness.
